Website Transfer & Hosting Order Form

1. Domain Name Registration (if applicable)

If the client does not already own a domain name, The Marketing Hub Limited can register one on their behalf at a one-off cost of £20.00 + VAT.
An annual renewal fee of £20.00 + VAT will apply unless the domain name is managed independently by the client.

2. Website Transfer

For websites built by a third party, The Marketing Hub Limited charges a one-off fee of £100.00 + VAT to complete the transfer to our hosting environment.
This covers the technical migration of the site files and database only. Any remedial work required due to the original build, missing files, or compatibility issues will be quoted separately.

3. Hosting Agreement

Once transferred, the website will be hosted by The Marketing Hub Limited at a cost of £120.00 + VAT per annum, invoiced yearly in advance unless otherwise agreed.

This hosting service includes:

Secure server space on The Marketing Hub Limited’s hosting environment

Routine server updates and monitoring

Technical support relating to hosting issues

This agreement has a 12-month minimum term.

4. Start Date

Services will commence once The Marketing Hub Limited has received:

The completed order form,

Access details to complete the transfer, and

Any initial payment due.

5. Content

The client remains responsible for providing and maintaining all website content including imagery, copy, downloadable files, and other assets.

6. Amendments & Additional Work

Any work outside the scope of transfer and hosting will be charged at £24.30 (inc. VAT) per hour, unless otherwise quoted in advance.

7. Early Termination

If the hosting agreement is cancelled within the 12-month term, the full remaining balance for the period will become payable immediately.
A one-month written notice period is required for cancellation.

8. Ownership & Transfer

The website remains the property of the client.
Hosting services provided by The Marketing Hub Limited will not be transferred until all outstanding balances are settled.
Should the client wish to migrate the site away from The Marketing Hub Limited’s servers, technical handover support can be provided at an additional cost.

9. E-commerce (if applicable)

Where the website includes e-commerce functionality, the client is responsible for the management of products, orders, and updates.
Additional migration or setup of products beyond the initial transfer can be carried out at an agreed cost.

10. Code & Third-Party Build Limitations

As the website was originally developed by a third party, The Marketing Hub Limited cannot accept responsibility for issues relating to the original code, theme, or plugins.
Any remedial work required will be scoped and quoted separately.

11. Liability

The Marketing Hub Limited is not liable for:

Downtime caused by third-party issues,

Loss of data,

Interruptions to service beyond our control.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they maintain adequate backups of website content and data.

12. Payment

All prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

Payment is to be made by Direct Debit unless otherwise agreed.

For businesses trading for less than 6 months, a 3-month advance payment may be required.
