Website Sign Up

If the client does not already own a domain name, The Marketing Hub Limited can register one on their behalf at a one-off cost of £20.00.
An annual renewal fee of £20.00 will apply unless the domain is managed independently by the client.

System Development, Support & Maintenance

The Marketing Hub Limited will design and build the website based on the agreed functionality and features outlined during project scoping.
Although the client already owns their domain name and will host the website on their own server, a 24-month minimum agreement applies.

This monthly fee is to spread the cost of design and development and includes ongoing website support, plugin updates (where applicable), and technical maintenance during this period.
This service will be invoiced monthly in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Start Date & Project Commencement

The project will begin once The Marketing Hub Limited has received the completed order form and any initial payment, if applicable.

Content

The client is responsible for providing all required content including imagery, copy, downloads, and other assets as requested.
Amendments & Additional Work
Any work requested outside the original project scope will be charged at £24.30 (inc VAT) per hour.

Early Termination

Should the agreement be cancelled within the 24-month term, the full remaining balance will become payable immediately.
A one-month written notice period is required for cancellation.

Ownership & Transfer

The website remains the property of The Marketing Hub Limited until all balances are settled.
After the 24-month period and upon full payment, the website can be transferred to another provider if desired.
Technical handover support can be arranged at an additional cost.

E-commerce (if applicable)

Up to 10 products will be added initially, with the option to migrate or input more at an additional cost.
Ongoing product management will be the responsibility of the client, with training provided as required.

Code

Under no circumstances is the client or any third party under instruction from the client allowed to alter or modify any code produced by The Marketing Hub Limited.
The client is not permitted to download, copy, sell, or distribute any part of the custom-built system without written permission.

Server Responsibilities

As the website is hosted on the client's own server, The Marketing Hub Limited accepts no responsibility for any server-side or PHP-related issues, including those caused by outdated or corrupt software or changes in scripting language.
The client must inform The Marketing Hub in advance of any planned server or language updates, as any resulting development work may incur additional charges.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that adequate security measures and backups are in place for their hosted environment.

Liability

The Marketing Hub Limited is not liable for third-party hosting issues, including but not limited to server downtime, loss of data, or interruptions to service.

Payment

All prices are inclusive of VAT.
Payment is to be made by Direct Debit unless otherwise agreed.
For businesses trading for less than 6 months, a 3-month advance payment may be required.
